Für das  Salsalegría Dance Festival 2010 haben wir Gastlehrer aus Holland, Brasilien, Spanien und Tschechien eingeladen. Ein hochkarätiges Gastlehrerteam, internationale Stars und absolute Profis. 

Die Gastlehrer freuen sich auf die Schweiz und euch Tänzer! Wir heissen sie willkommen.

Adilio Porto (Brasilien / Niederlande)

Workshops: Zouk Rio Style, Samba de Gafieira

Adilio startete bei Jaime Aroxa in Rio de Janeiro seine internationale Tanzkarriere. Zusammen mit Renata Peçanha entwickelte er aus dem ursprünglichen Lambada einen neuen Tanzstil: Zouk Rio Style. Renata und Adilio haben seitdem viele heute bekannte Zouk Tänzer inspiriert wie Mafie Zouker, Israel Sherman oder Claudio Gomes, den Gründer von ZoukLovers in Niederlanden.

Adilio hat das Tanzen „gefressen“, sprüht vor Energie und Witz beim Zouk und Samba de Gafieira. Seine Workshops sind immer ein Highlight an jedem Kongress.

Adilio ist zum ersten Mal in der Schweiz: Nicht verpassen!

Vicky Derks (Netherlands)

Workshop: Zouk Rio Style, Samba de Gafieira

Vicky was born in 1974 and started dancing at 6 years old. She graduated with a degree in ballet and contempory dance in 1996. For many years she has been dancing in several modern dance companies and travelling all around the world. Besides ballet and modern dance she has studied capoeira, yoga, pilates, acrobatics and brazilian dance. Vicky also works as a physical therapist treating professional dancers.

Vicky is working together with Adilio Porto, Pasty, Josta and Mafie Zouker.
Beside performing zouk and contempory dance she is performing in aerial acrobatics (silks).

Laia (Spain)

Workshops: Lambada-Zouk

Laia was born in Barcelona (Spain). She started dancing at the age of six and has continued throughout her life: In 2000 she fell in love with the world of the Brazilian dances.

As members of the DansaBrasil Association Laia and her partner Papagaio are part of the organizers of the annual DansaBrasil Lambada-Zouk Congress in Barcelona. Together they teach Lambada-Zouk workshops around the world.

Laia, a qualified fitness instructor, and Papagaio are known for their highly regarded classes and their understanding and teaching of Lambada-Zouk body moves.

Papagaio (Spain)

Workshops: Lambada-Zouk

Gabriel Torres, better known by his Capoeira name PAPAGAIO, was born in Fortaleza in Brazil.  As well as having made a name for himself in the world of Capoeira, he is one of the foremost teachers and DJs of Lambada/Zouk in Barcelona and throughout Spain.

He's been a pioneer in promoting Zouk music in Barcelona and is the most recognized Brasilian DJ of Spain and soon moved on to teach Lambada-Zouk, together with his partner Laia.

He gives classes in Barcelona and around the world and is currently active with Lambada-Zouk and Capoeira workshops, as well as performing Brasilian shows in cultural events throughout Spain. 

Pasty (Curacao, Netherlands)

Workshops: Zouk Rio Style (Pasty Style)

Pasty dances his own unique style, an energetic Zouk with passion, technique, innovation, body movement, musicality and - most important – improvisation. 
In his 13 years of professional dance experience Pasty has worked with the most respected zouk and salsa artists and developed a unique dancing and teaching style. Pasty is very well known for his innovative style and smooth movements. 
Thanks to his physical presence in the dance even the simplest move gets a Pasty flavour.

Pasty teaches and performs under his own name Pasty Dance worldwide for the biggest congresses and festivals. His classes are full of energy, beginning with a high energetic warm-up! Be prepared! He keeps surprising his students and audiences.

Josta Ruby O’Neil (Netherlands)

Workshop: Zouk Rio Style

Josta started dancing Zouk eight years ago. In 2001 she won the Corona Lime contest and in 2004 the BrasaZouk contest in Amsterdam. In 2004 she graduated from the Jazz department in the Theater School, Amsterdam. Since then she has worked as a professional dancer for various companies and projects from musicals to contemporary dance. In the Zouk world she is dancing, teaching and performing with Pasty. She enriches her workshops by combining it with various other dance styles, techniques and new ways of performing.

Ludek and Pavla (Tschechia)

Workshops: Zouk Rio Style, Lambada-Zouk

Ludek a Pavla have started their dance career with ballroom dances, reached the international class, became Czech champions in standard team dances and winners of other international competitions. Since 2002 they started teaching salsa, bachata and other dances in dance clubs and workshops in Czech republic and finally in 2008 they started teaching zouk. Now they belong to the most active teachers of zouk in the central europe, teaching in their own dance studio, organizing zouk workshops with top world zouk leaders. They use in their lessons proved experiences with different dances and techniques with accent on leading, shaping and body movement. Their lessons are very popular for amusing atmosphere and charismatic leading.

Thomas (Switzerland)

Workshops: Zouk Rio Style

Thomas unterrichtet an der Tanzschule Salsalegría in Zürich zusammen mit seiner Frau Nancy Zouk, Salsa und Samba de Gafieira. Er ist Mitglied des Salsalegría Danceteam und tanzt mit Leidenschaft Zouk. Als erfahrenerer kreativer Tänzer liebt er die Spontanität in Zouk, das sinnliche Tanzen mit viel Dynamik. 

Das Tanzfieber hat Thomas schon vor zwei Jahrzehnten gepackt und nicht mehr losgelassen. Sein Tanzen begann mit Disco Fox, Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, West Coast Swing und Afro und führte ihn zu Salsa, zu Zouk und Samba de Gafieira. Sein breit abgestütztes Wissen liefert den idealen Hintergrund für einen dynamischen, interaktiven Tanzunterricht!

Nancy (Switzerland)

Workshops: Zouk Rio Style, Lambada-Zouk

Tanzen ist Nancy's Leben: Geboren als Tochter von Peruanischen-Schweizerischen Eltern ist sie mit Latino Musik aufgewachsen. Als Nancy in Buenos Aires lebte, entdeckte sie Zouk. Zurück in der Schweiz gründete sie Salsalegría, die einzige Tanzschule für Zouk, Salsa, Samba de Gafieira, Forró und Zumba in der Schweiz.

Sie arbeitet weltweit mit den besten Zouktänzern zusammen, sei es in Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona oder Zürich. In ihrem Tanzunterricht lässt sie verschiedene Zouk-Tanzstile einfliessen und gibt ihr Wissen und Können für die brasilianischen Tänze sorgfältig und strukturiert weiter. Nancys Leidenschaft – Zouk – wird auch Deine Leidenschaft werden.
